Surplus Lines Disclosure

Certain specialty, high-risk, or unusual coverages may not be available through admitted NY carriers and may require placement with non-admitted surplus lines insurers. Non-admitted surplus lines insurers are not covered by the New York Property/Casualty Insurance Security Fund, which means policyholders do not have the same guaranty fund protections as they would with admitted carriers.

If your coverage is placed with a surplus lines insurer, we will disclose this in writing prior to binding and provide you with all required NY surplus lines disclosures.

My Town Advisors can assist you in obtaining required coverages, but ultimate compliance responsibility rests with the business owner. AI Data Processing

Policy information and business details submitted through our AI Policy Analyzer or Self-Service Center are processed by an AI model to generate preliminary estimates. This information is transmitted to our AI service provider (Anthropic, PBC) for processing. It is not stored permanently by the AI provider and is not used to train AI models. All AI outputs are reviewed by a licensed producer at My Town Advisors before being communicated to you.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
